Terms and Conditions
- All stock and prices are subject to availability.
- All prices are in UK Pounds sterling.
- The prices in Euros and US Dollars are based on an average daily exchange rate. When your order is processed the total actually charged may vary dependant on the rate of exchange at that time.
- All photos are used for illustration only.
- Please note special offer prices are only valid if the item is purchased at the offer price. Perfume Genie will not offer a refund for items bought at a higher price when it is not on special offer.
- All complaints will be acknowledged within 7 working days, although we try to acknowledge all complaints immediately. The customer will be informed of all progress.
- According to the Data Protection Act 1988 we do not supply any of your details to a third party, unless you have given Perfume Genie express permission to do so.
- Orders may be subject to extra security checks at our discretion. This may include confirmation of Credit/Debit card details and full address details. Perfume Genie reserves the right to cancel any orders if this information cannot be supplied.
- Perfume Genie reserves the right to deliver certain orders to the Invoice Address only. Customers will be notified by e-mail if this is the case.
- If Perfume Genie has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible to either offer an alternative item (to the same value) or we will refund the cost of the unavailable goods. Perfume Genie will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
- Customers have the right to return their order within 7 working days of receiving their goods. Where the customer exercises their right to cancel an order, the product costs only will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of returned goods as we do not refund postal charges.
- All returned products will be refunded or exchanged provided they have not been used, postage costs will only be refunded if goods received were incorrect, faulty or damaged upon receipt, photographic evidence may be required to support a claim.
- Returned items should be sent by Recorded Delivery, Perfume Genie will not cover return postage costs for Special Delivery or any courier service.
- Any returned items must be received within 30 days of purchase to qualify for a refund or replacement. Any returned faulty goods after this time may only receive a part refund dependant on the amount of product used. Any goods returned more than 2 months after purchase, whether faulty or not, will not be refunded or replaced and the returned goods will be disposed of.
- If the rare occasion occurs whereby the customer receives an incorrect item, Perfume Genie will, upon receipt of the returned incorrect item, send the correct item and refund the return postage. If the customer requires a fast replacement, Perfume Genie will recharge the customer, send the correct item and on receipt of the returned incorrect item, refund the customer for the cost of their 2nd order and for their return postage.
- Orders returned ‘Not Called For’ by Royal Mail be refunded the cost of products upon receipt, not including postage. Customers will be notified and the order will be cancelled.
- Orders not received, which were dispatched by Standard Postage, will not be deemed ‘missing’ until 15 working days have passed, therefore no resend or refund will be offered until after this period.
- None of the above effects your statutory rights.
Privacy Policy
We at Perfume Genie will not share, rent or sell your personal information. We will use your information for the sole purpose of processing your order. We will only contact you if we have a question about your order or if you have opted in to receive promotional mail from us.
Disclaimer
The oils that we sell have no connection what so ever with any designer label or brand. The names used are for a reference only to the fragrance.
Postage Costs
Our postage structure is divided into 2 sections. Within UK and abroad. For within UK, we charge a flat amount of £2.00 if the order is below £25 and if it is over £25 then it is free postage, usually sent with either Royal Mail/DPD. If you want something urgent and order before 11am we can send it on a next day delivery for £10
If however you are abroad then your postage costs will depend on the weight of your order.
We charge postage mostly based on what it costs us. We don’t believe in charging extortionate postage prices.
Sprays can be sent abroad, within Europe it comes by road, and will arrive in 3-4 days to most destinations after dispatch. If outside of Europe, we can send to most destinations including, USA and Canada, however the cost may seem high but thats because it is classified as dangerous goods and a premium has to be paid for that, but we still remain the cheapest for high quality perfumes despite the high postage charge.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the customers responsibility to check what the taxes/duties are in their country, Perfume Genie has no knowledge of worldwide taxes and implications, hence cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred.
